Tezuka Toho (b.1942) is a second-generation master from Kyoto. He is the third son of first generation potter Tezuka Gyokudo. He start to study under his father and then in 1971 established his own kiln after he was blessed to this by the head priest from Daitokuji Temple. In 2003 Tezuka-san opened another kiln and in this year was invited to become a member of the Kyoto Ceramics Association. Master regularly holds personal exhibitions in Kyoto and Tokyo and became very famous for his the mastery of application of overglaze enamels.
